Golden Wyandotte

No dyes or extra fabrics are used unless otherwise specified. No birds are ever harmed and all feathers are cleaned before final product is made. All feathers are unique and each picture is of an exact piece; an exact matching pair that is not already pictured is not guaranteed.

Upkeep Tip: Gently stroke your feather (with the hair grain) with your fingertips to keep feather shiny and in-shape.

As the first chicken to be accepted into the Standard of Perfection in 1883, there is a bit of mystery of the Wyandotte's origin.  An American breed of developed in New York in the early 1870s. They get their name from the Wyandotte Nation, but they have no direct historical association with the tribe.
